California’s scenic Sierra Nevada range has provided inspiration to artists for centuries. Placer County’s historic towns, scenic routes and stunning recreation areas provide the backdrop for a vibrant arts community that includes visual, performing and literary arts.

The Susan Cooley-Gilliom Artist Residency & Teaching Program invites you to nourish your artistic soul with two Artist Residencies in 2011. In addition to the workshops, several special events and receptions will allow participants to engage with the local arts community.
